Information And Eligibility: The Get Safe’s Safety Scholarship Essay Competition is giving away a $500 college scholarship for the best essay based on the book The Gift of Freedom: A Stronger, Safer You. The scholarship contest is an essay-based scholarship contest and is open to high school seniors, college undergraduates, and graduate-level college students in good academic standing with a passion to increase safety awareness globally.

The Get Safe’s Safety Scholarship Contest is asking applicants to write an original essay of no more than 1000 words, addressing the following questions: How has the book positively impacted your daily life with a new sense of safety awareness? What is your commitment to improving the lives of both survivors and average citizens now with the knowledge you have attained? Describe what differentiates the books approach to safety education in reference to traditional curriculums? The winning essay will receive a $500 college scholarship and will be published on the Get Safe website.
