Award Amount: $1,500 per semester for full-time students; $750 per semester for part-time students

Information And Eligibility:
The Gianforte Trade and Technology Scholarships provide financial assistance to Montana residents enrolled in technical and trade-focused programs. Eligible programs include automotive technology, plumbing, electronics, construction, diesel technology, cybersecurity, and various computer and technical fields. The scholarship aims to support students pursuing careers in high-demand trades and technologies within Montana.

Eligibility Requirements:

  • Must be a resident of the state of Montana.
  • Must file a Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA); dual credit students are not required to file a FAFSA.
  • Must have unmet financial need (Cost of Attendance minus Student Aid Index minus other aid, excluding loans).
  • Must be in good standing at a qualifying campus (maintain Satisfactory Academic Progress).
  • Must be enrolled in a minimum of 6 credits in a qualifying program at a participating institution.

Application Process:

  • Meet the eligibility requirements outlined above.
  • Submit a complete application through the Award Montana Portal.
  • Be enrolled in at least 6 credits at one of the qualifying campuses/programs.
