Information And Eligibility: It may have a silly name, but this is a serious scholarship opportunity for students. The Grandparents Gone Wired Scholarship contest would like the younger generation to get involved and get active in teaching seniors how to use and interact with technology. By simply bringing your grandparents into the digital age, you could win a $500 scholarship for college. The Grandparents Gone Wired Scholarship contest would like applicants to document how they have helped teach their grandparents to use Facebook, Gmail, and Skype. All applicants who apply will be entered into a drawing, with two winners selected at random to each receive a $500 Grandparents Gone Wired Scholarship.

To enter the Grandparents Gone Wired Scholarship contest, applicants must be a legal U.S. citizen or legal Canadian citizen under the age of 25. Selected scholarship winners may apply the scholarship award money towards tuition for an undergraduate or graduate degree at any two-year or four-year accredited institution of higher education.
