The Irja Sundgren Pratt Memorial Scholarship was established through the estate of Irja Sundgren Pratt, valedictorian of Gilbert High School and a graduate of Eveleth Community College (now Minnesota North College-Mesabi Campus). Irja valued education and aimed to provide opportunities for young individuals from the Iron Range to pursue post-secondary education. This scholarship offers financial assistance to students attending one of Minnesota North College’s six campuses: Hibbing, Itasca, Mesabi-Eveleth, Mesabi-Virginia, Rainy River, and Vermilion.
