Love Your Body Poster Contest Scholarship

Name: The Love Your Body Poster Contest Scholarship

Award Amount: $100 – $250

Information And Eligibility:
The Love Your Body Poster Contest Scholarship, created by the National Organization for Women (NOW) Foundation, is a creative scholarship competition designed to promote positive body image and challenge harmful beauty standards. As part of the long-running Love Your Body Campaign, the contest encourages artists of all backgrounds to submit original poster designs that celebrate body diversity, self-acceptance, and the message that every body deserves respect.

This scholarship stands out because it welcomes entries from anywhere in the world—students do **not** need to be U.S. citizens, nor do they need to be enrolled in college to participate. It is open to individuals of all ages and skill levels, making it one of the most inclusive art-based scholarship opportunities available. Entrants may submit multiple posters within the same category, but posters cannot be submitted across multiple categories. Categories typically include messaging built around themes such as challenging sexism, body positivity, media representation, and empowerment, though the specific themes and criteria may vary each year.

Only original artwork is eligible. The NOW Foundation evaluates submissions based on creativity, clarity of message, design quality, and alignment with the Love Your Body Campaign’s mission. Winning posters receive scholarship awards ranging from $100 to $250 depending on category placement. In addition to the cash award, winners receive national visibility, as their artwork is featured on the official NOW Foundation website and used at Love Your Body events across the country.

A single standout entry will be chosen from all category winners as the Grand Prize Winner. The grand prize entry receives an additional $100 award and becomes the official poster of the Love Your Body Campaign, offering the artist a unique platform and nationwide exposure. This added recognition makes the contest especially valuable for aspiring designers, illustrators, activists, or anyone looking to build a strong portfolio in socially conscious art.

Eligibility Requirements:

  • Open to participants from all countries.
  • Applicants may submit multiple posters within the same category.
  • Original artwork only—no reproductions or copyrighted images.
  • Cannot submit posters across multiple categories.

Application Requirements:

  • Submit artwork following the category guidelines and format specifications listed on the official website.
  • Include any required submission forms or contact information.
  • Ensure all entries are original and adhere to the campaign’s mission.
  • Grand prize and category winners may be required to provide high-resolution files for publication.
