The Maryland State Delegate Scholarship provides financial assistance to Maryland residents pursuing undergraduate or graduate degrees at an accredited Maryland college or university. The scholarship is funded by the Maryland General Assembly and is designed to support students with demonstrated financial need or academic merit.
Applicants must be Maryland residents and have been accepted into or enrolled in a degree program. In some cases, students attending out-of-state institutions may also qualify if their program is not offered in Maryland. Each delegate sets their own application criteria, which may include GPA requirements, a personal essay, or letters of recommendation.
This scholarship is renewable, provided that students continue to meet eligibility requirements. Funds can be used to cover tuition, fees, and other educational expenses.
