Microsoft offers four different types of technical scholarships for college, every academic school year to current undergraduate students. The Microsoft Scholarships For College include: General Scholarships for college, Women’s Scholarships for college, Minority Scholarships for college, and Scholarships for Students with Disabilities. Microsoft selects final candidates for scholarship awards based on the following criteria: meeting the eligibility requirements, quality of scholarship application, displayed interest in the software industry, commitment to leadership, and financial need.
To apply for Microsoft Scholarships For College, you must be enrolled full time in a Bachelor’s degree program at a 4-year college or university in the United States, Canada, or Mexico at the time you submit the application. You will also need to be making progress toward an undergraduate degree in computer science, computer engineering, or a related technical discipline such as electrical engineering, math, or physics – with an interest in computer science.
