The NSHSS Future Educators Scholarship is awarded by the National Society of High School Scholars (NSHSS) to celebrate students passionate about education and aspiring to shape its future. This scholarship is available to NSHSS members graduating high school in the specified years.

Eligibility criteria include:

• Membership: Must be an NSHSS member.
• Graduation Year: Open to students graduating high school in the specified years.

Application Requirements

To apply for the NSHSS Future Educators Scholarship, applicants must submit the following materials:

• Essay Response: A 500-800 word essay addressing the prompt: “What is your vision for the future of education, and how are you preparing to make a meaningful impact? Share the role you aspire to play as an educator and how you hope to shape the learning experiences of future generations.”
• Optional Media: Pictures, videos, or other media showcasing your leadership in action.
• Headshot: A color photograph suitable for website posting.
• Resume: An academic resume detailing relevant experiences and achievements.
• Transcript: A current academic transcript (official or unofficial).
• Recommendation Letter: A letter of recommendation from an educator endorsing your qualifications.
