The Perfect Plants South East Regional Scholarship Program, offered by Perfect Plants Nursery, supports students pursuing a career in the horticultural industry. Established in 2016 by this family-owned nursery, the scholarship encourages further interest and education in horticulture.

The $1,000 scholarship is awarded annually to a student enrolled in a horticulture-related degree program. Recipients are notified by September 20, and awards are mailed by October 1. Previous recipients are not eligible to reapply.

• Enrollment: Must be an incoming freshman, sophomore, junior, or senior enrolled full- or part-time in a degree program leading to a career in the horticultural industry.
• Academic Performance: Must have a minimum GPA of 3.0 or higher.
• Application Requirements: Must submit a completed online application, high school or college transcripts, a 500–1,000 word essay addressing specified topics, and two letters of recommendation from eligible sources.
• Recommendation Sources: May include a faculty member, horticultural professional, community leader, or employer/supervisor.
