Name: The Power Poetry Slam What You Will Scholarship Contest

Award Amount: $1000

Information And Eligibility: If you are between the ages of 13 and 25 years old, and are good with words, you could be eligible to win a $1000 college scholarship from Power Poetry. Eligible applicants for this scholarship opportunity must have attended or be currently attending high school in the United States, or must be currently enrolled in an accredit college in the United States (non US citizens are eligible to apply, as long as they are currently attending a high school or college in the United States). Applicants interested in this scholarship program must register as a user on the Power Poetry site, and submit their poem for consideration. The topic for this scholarship slam is completely open, which means applicants can write about anything they wish. Applicants may only submit one poem each, applicants caught submitting multiple poem entries will be disqualified from the contest. The scholarship winner will be chosen randomly from all eligible applicants, who meet the required qualifications. All poems must be the applicants original work.
