Information and Eligibility:

The Randolph Bracy Ocoee Scholarship Program was established to honor the victims of the Ocoee Election Day Massacre of 1920. The program provides financial assistance to eligible Florida students, especially those who are direct descendants of the massacre victims, to pursue postsecondary education.

Eligibility Requirements:

  • Residency: Must be a Florida resident and U.S. citizen or eligible noncitizen.
  • Ancestry (Preferred): Priority consideration is given to direct descendants of victims of the 1920 Ocoee Election Day Massacre (documentation required).
  • Enrollment: Must enroll full-time in an undergraduate degree or certificate program at an eligible Florida public postsecondary institution.
  • Academic Performance: Maintain satisfactory academic progress as defined by the institution.
