  • Complete the SPS Future Teacher Scholarship application online through the SPS portal.

    • Your experience and involvement with SPS and its impact on your education.
    • How this scholarship will support your journey toward becoming a teacher.
  • Provide an official transcript that highlights completed and planned coursework related to physics and education.
  • Two letters of recommendation:
    • One from an SPS advisor or faculty member familiar with your academic and teaching-related activities.
    • One from another faculty member or mentor who can attest to your teaching potential and qualifications.
  • Certification from the Department Chair confirming your academic standing and progress toward a degree.

  • Award Notification: Winners are announced by late spring.
