Information And Eligibility: The Stokes Educational Scholarship Program was founded in 1986, to help facilitate the recruitment of high school students, who have demonstrated skills critical to NSA. This scholarship opportunity is open to all high school seniors planning on majoring in computer science or computer/electrical engineering. Recipients of this Educational Scholarship Program will attend college full-time, receive up to $30,000 per year for tuition and fees, and will work for 12 weeks during the summers within areas of NSA related to their course of study. All interested applicants must be U.S. citizens, be eligible to be granted a security clearance, be a high school senior at the time of application, have a minimum SAT score of 1600 or ACT of 25, and have a GPA of 3.0 or above on a 4.0 scale. Recipients of this scholarship must maintain a 3.0 GPA on a 4.0 scale starting freshman year to remain eligible. Recipients will be required to work in their area of study for NSA upon college graduation for at least one and one-half times their length of study. Applications are accepted September 1st through November 15th of each year.
