Award Amount: Five scholarships of $2,500 each

Information and Eligibility:
The Teradata H.O.P.E. in Tech Scholarship is designed to help students who have faced significant challenges and are pursuing degrees in STEM fields. By providing this financial support, Teradata seeks to foster a more inclusive and diverse technology industry, ensuring that everyone has the opportunity to thrive.

Eligibility criteria include:

  • Student Status: Open to high school seniors in their final year, recent graduates, or current undergraduate students.
  • Enrollment: Must be enrolled full-time or half-time in an accredited two- or four-year college, university, or vocational-technical school for the upcoming academic year.
  • Field of Study: Must be pursuing a degree in a STEM-related field (science, technology, engineering, mathematics, statistics, data science, economics, commerce, etc.).
  • Financial Need: Must demonstrate financial need.
  • Adversity/Service: Must show efforts to overcome a disadvantaged situation, or demonstrate significant work to support others in similar circumstances.
  • Residency: Must reside in a country with a Teradata presence, including:
    • North America: United States, Canada, Mexico
    • Latin America: Argentina, Brazil, Chile, Colombia, Peru
    • Europe: Austria, Belgium, Czechia, Denmark, Finland, France, Germany, Ireland, Italy, Netherlands, Poland, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland, United Kingdom
    • Middle East & Africa: Egypt, Saudi Arabia, United Arab Emirates
    • Asia-Pacific: Australia, Hong Kong, India, Indonesia, Japan, Republic of Korea, Malaysia, New Zealand, Pakistan, Philippines, Singapore, Taiwan
  • Restrictions: Teradata employees are not eligible to apply. Children of Teradata employees may apply but receive no preference.
