Information And Eligibility:
The Fountainhead Essay Contest Scholarship is open to 11th and 12th Graders who are looking to earn some scholarship cash for college! The first prize is worth $10,000, there will be 5 second place prizes at $2,000, 10 third place prizes at $1,000, 45 finalists will earn $100, and 175 semifinalists will earn $50. There is no formal application required to apply, and The Fountainhead Essay Contest Scholarship is open to students worldwide. Applicants will be asked to submit an essay to be judged on both style and content. Judges will look for writing that is clear, articulate, and logically organized. Winning essays must demonstrate an outstanding grasp of the philosophic meaning of The Fountainhead. All essay submissions are evaluated in a fair and unbiased four-round judging process. Judges are individually selected by the Ayn Rand Institute based on a demonstrated knowledge and understanding of Ayn Rand’s works.
