United States Navy Memorial Scholarship

Name: United States Navy Memorial Scholarship

Award Amount: $5,000

Information And Eligibility:
The United States Navy Memorial Scholarship is a distinguished award created to honor the legacy of Chief Petty Officers (E7, E8, and E9) who dedicated their lives to service in the United States Navy. This scholarship provides financial support to their grandchildren as they pursue higher education and strive to build meaningful futures inspired by the values of leadership, commitment, and excellence upheld by Chief Petty Officers. Each year, a panel composed of active-duty Master Chief Petty Officers carefully reviews all submitted applications and awards a minimum of one and up to three scholarships to deserving students.

This scholarship is open to high school seniors preparing to enter college as well as current undergraduate students. The award recognizes academic achievement, integrity, and the ability to embody the honor and tradition associated with naval service. Applicants are encouraged to demonstrate their educational goals, personal strengths, and the influence their grandparent’s naval service has had on their life and future aspirations.

The $5,000 award can be applied toward tuition, books, fees, and other education-related expenses at any accredited college or university. The program’s aim is to help relieve financial burdens for students with a deep familial connection to the Navy while empowering them to pursue degrees in fields of their choice.
