Name: The Vegetarian Resource Group Scholarship
Award Amount: $5,000
Information And Eligibility: The Vegetarian Resource Group awards up to $10,000 in college scholarship money each year to graduating U.S. high school students who have promoted vegetarianism in their schools and/or communities. Two $5,000 scholarships will be awarded annually to applicants who best meet the scholarship’s criteria.
To apply for this scholarship, applicants must be residents of the United States. The application includes a questionnaire on how the applicant has promoted a vegetarian lifestyle. The scholarship will be awarded based on the applicant’s demonstrated compassion, courage, and commitment to promoting a peaceful world through a vegetarian diet and lifestyle.
