Information And Eligibility:
The Governor’s Distinguished Scholarship is Arkansas’s most prestigious scholarship for high-achieving students. It provides up to $10,000 per year for tuition, mandatory fees, room, and board, and is available to graduating high school seniors who demonstrate exceptional academic achievement and leadership potential.

Eligibility Requirements:

• Must be an Arkansas resident.
• Must be a U.S. citizen or lawful permanent resident.
• Be a graduating high school senior.
• Meet one of the following academic criteria:
  • Achieve an ACT composite or superscore of 32 or higher.
  • Score at least 1410 on the SAT (math and evidence-based reading & writing).
  • Be recognized as a National Merit Finalist or National Achievement Finalist.
• Maintain a minimum 3.5 cumulative unweighted high school GPA.

Application Requirements:

• Complete the scholarship application through the ADHE portal.
• Provide official ACT or SAT scores meeting the academic criteria.
• Submit high school transcripts reflecting GPA and graduation eligibility.
• Include proof of National Merit or National Achievement Finalist status, if applicable.
