Information And Eligibility:
The Jack Kent Cooke Graduate Arts Scholarship is one of the most prestigious funding opportunities available to graduate-level artists who demonstrate exceptional creative ability and substantial financial need. Designed to support individuals pursuing advanced study in the arts, this scholarship provides up to $50,000 per year for up to three years, making it one of the largest graduate arts awards offered in the United States. The scholarship aims to identify highly talented emerging artists, help remove financial barriers to their continued growth, and allow them to focus fully on their craft through advanced, immersive academic training.

This scholarship supports a wide range of artistic fields, including but not limited to visual arts, performing arts, creative writing, film, design, and interdisciplinary arts. Funds may be applied toward tuition, required fees, books, supplies, room and board, and other essential educational expenses. Award amounts may vary based on the total cost of attendance and any other financial aid the recipient receives.

Unlike many scholarships, students cannot apply independently. Instead, applicants must be nominated by the Jack Kent Cooke Foundation Faculty Representative at their institution.
