Award Amount: $250
Information And Eligibility: Willamette Writers and Barnes and Noble are the proud sponsor the Kate Herzog Scholarships. High school seniors and college freshman and sophomores can enter to win a Kate Herzog Scholarship. There are four scholarships with financial amounts to range from $100-$250. Applicants will submit an original, unpublished writing sample of less than 1000 words, typed, double-spaced. In previous years, student entries have ranged about one third fiction, one third essays, one third memoirs, and some poetry.
