Information and Eligibility:
The Maryland Hospital Association Health-Career Scholarship supports individuals pursuing education or training in health-care careers, particularly to help fill workforce shortages in Maryland hospitals and health systems.
Eligibility criteria include:

• Residency/Region: Applicants must be Maryland residents or enrolled in an approved health-care program within Maryland.
• Field of Study: Must be pursuing a health-care career path—such as nursing, clinical laboratory science, radiology/medical imaging, respiratory therapy, or allied health fields.
• Academic & Training Status: Applicants may be entering a certificate, associate’s, bachelor’s or graduate health-care program and show intent to work in Maryland’s health-care workforce.

Application Requirements:

• Completed scholarship application form as specified by the Maryland Hospital Association (or its partner program).
• Official or unofficial transcript or proof of enrollment in an eligible health-care program.
• Résumé or personal statement describing educational and career goals, interest in health-care service in Maryland, and how the scholarship will support the applicant.

• Demonstrated commitment to health-care service in Maryland hospitals or systems and potential to help address workforce needs.
