Information and Eligibility:

The OPI “A Great Opera-Tunity” Scholarship, administered by the Beauty Changes Lives Foundation, is designed for newly accepted or currently enrolled students in nail technology programs leading to licensure in the U.S. or Canada. $3,000 per scholarship; 12 scholarships available. The scholarship aims to support and inspire the next generation of nail artists.

Eligibility criteria include:

• Enrollment Status: Applicants must be accepted or currently enrolled in a nail technology program that leads to licensure in the U.S. or Canada.
• Application Period: Applications are accepted during specific periods; for example, the cycle had three seasons: Summer (June 1 – August 31), Fall (September 1 – November 30), and Winter (December 1 – February 28). Please verify current dates on the official website.

Application requirements include:

• Proof of Enrollment/Acceptance: Submit an enrollment document, official acceptance letter, or progress report from your nail technology school.
• Video Submission: Provide a public YouTube link (maximum 3 minutes) answering the following questions:
  1. Name a nail art beauty influencer that inspires you; how do you hope to inspire the next generation of nail artists?
  2. How will OPI’s “Opera-tunity” scholarship help you achieve your goals?
  3. If you could name a future, best-selling OPI lacquer that would describe your best self, what would it be? Use your imagination!
