Award Amount: $1,250 per academic year, renewable for up to three years.

Information and Eligibility:

The Charles L. Hebner Memorial Scholarship honors the former Speaker of the Delaware House of Representatives. It is awarded to high school seniors in Delaware who demonstrate academic excellence and plan to pursue a major in the humanities or social sciences at a regionally accredited institution.

Eligibility Requirements:

• Residency: Must be a Delaware resident.
• Academic Performance: Must have a minimum SAT score of 1290.
• Educational Plans: Must enroll full-time at a regionally accredited institution to pursue a major in the humanities or social sciences.

Selection Criteria:

• Academic achievements and performance.
• Demonstrated financial need.
• Commitment to a career related to the humanities or social sciences.

• Complete and submit the online scholarship application.
• File the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA).
