Information And Eligibility: One out of every eight people on the planet today lack access to safe water and safe water supplies. Pure Water Scholarships was founded because our relationship to water is in clear need of transformation. Through this college scholarship opportunity, Pure Water hopes to help inspire actions to bring pure, living water to everyone on the planet. Eligible applicants must be current high school students, in grades nine, ten, eleven, or twelve, must be U.S. Citizens or permanent residents, and must have a cumulative Grade Point Average of 2.0 on a 4.0 scale. There is no membership required to apply, students must simply submit a short 250 word essay on what ideas they have about keeping our water clean and pure and what have you already done to help people have access to pure water? Final candidates will be selected within 2 weeks after the application deadline. Winners will receive a $300 college scholarship, which will be distributed to the student’s college/university account pending proof of enrollment in college via the college administration department and proof of grade point average.
