Information And Eligibility: The ThanksUSA Scholarship Program is a non-partisan, charitable foundation seeking to provide need-based college, technical and vocational school scholarships for the children and spouses of the men and women of the United States armed forces. If selected as a scholarship recipient, the student will receive an award of $3,000 or up to the program costs, whichever is the lesser amount. Students are allowed to reapply in subsequent years if ThanksUSA is offering the same scholarship program.
Applicants to the ThanksUSA Scholarship Program must be dependent children of U.S. military service personnel, age 24 and under, or be spouses of U.S. military service personnel. ThanksUSA Scholarship Program applicants must be current high school seniors or students who are already enrolled (or plan to enroll) in a full-time undergraduate course of study at an accredited two or four year college or vocational-technical school. Applicants must also have at least a 2.00 cumulative grade point average (GPA) on a 4.00 scale or its equivalent on their relevant academic record.
